Bet365 Expands Online Sports Betting to Arizona
Bet365 has made its online sports betting services available in Arizona following a partnership with the Ak-Chin Indian Community. This move brings Bet365’s presence in the US to nine states.
Arizona players can now place pre-event and in-game wagers on a variety of sports through Bet365. The platform also offers features such as same game parlay, cash out, and edit bet.
This expansion in Arizona follows previous launches in Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Iowa, Colorado, and Indiana just last month.
The timing of the launch coincides with the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII, which is the pinnacle event for the NFL.
A spokesperson for Bet365 highlighted the excitement of bringing the platform to Arizona, emphasizing the state’s vibrant sports scene and the company’s market-leading offerings.
As part of the partnership with the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Bet365 will contribute $1 million to support local initiatives benefiting tribal members.
Robert Miguel, chairman of the Ak-Chin Indian Community, welcomed the partnership, expressing gratitude for the charitable contribution and the potential benefits for bettors and community members.
The expansion into Arizona comes amid a thriving sports betting market in the state, with a new monthly handle record set in November. However, despite high levels of betting activity, revenue figures for online operators have fluctuated in recent months, with DraftKings and partner Crown Gaming leading the way in online revenue.
FanDuel and Bally Interactive are also prominent operators in the online market, processing substantial amounts in wagers and revenue.
The entrance of Bet365 into the Arizona market sets the stage for competition with existing operators such as DraftKings, highlighting the growing popularity and potential for online sports betting in the state.
