Playnetic, a newly established gaming entertainment business, has announced the appointment of Dan Phillips as its chief executive. Phillips, who previously worked at Playtech and Gala Coral Group, will take on the CEO role with immediate effect ahead of Playnetic’s official launch next year at ICE 2024 in London.

Before joining Playnetic, Phillips led NEL Advisory, an igaming consultancy he founded in April 2018. He brings over five years of experience in the industry, having also served as vice president of UK operations at Playtech and in leadership positions at Fertitta Interactive and Chartwell Games.

Additionally, Phillips spent eight years as the gaming director of ecommerce for Gala Coral Group before its merger with Ladbrokes and acquisition by Entain. His career in the gaming industry began as a dealer, supervisor, and pit boss at Gala Casino.

In a LinkedIn post, Phillips expressed his excitement about joining Playnetic and highlighted the company’s focus on customer-first approach, quality gaming content, and transparent business practices. He also announced that Playnetic will soon be bringing a range of bespoke games and premium content from its in-house studios to the B2B space.

As for what Playnetic has in store for the industry, the company has remained tight-lipped about its offerings, keeping its cards close to its chest ahead of the official launch. However, Playnetic has positioned itself as a new player in the gaming entertainment sector, emphasizing its commitment to creating innovative gaming content with a focus on quality, customer service, and reliable delivery to its partners.

Playnetic will make its industry debut at Stand N3-550 at ICE 2024, where more details about the company’s products and services will be revealed. The business aims to showcase its dedication to delivering high-quality gaming experiences and building strong relationships with its partners.
