Playnetic, a newly established gaming entertainment business, has appointed Dan Phillips as its chief executive. Phillips, who previously worked at Playtech and Gala Coral Group, will take on the CEO role with immediate effect as Playnetic gears up for its official launch next year. The company will make its debut at ICE 2024, a gaming conference in London.
Before joining Playnetic, Phillips led NEL Advisory, an igaming consultancy he founded in 2018. Prior to that, he served as the vice-president of UK operations at Playtech for over five years and held various leadership positions at Fertitta Interactive and Chartwell Games. Phillips also spent eight years as the gaming director of ecommerce for Gala Coral Group.
Expressing his excitement about joining Playnetic, Phillips stated in a LinkedIn post, “With a team of industry experts, we will soon be bringing to the B2B space an exciting range of bespoke games, along with new premium content from our two in-house studios.”
However, details about what precisely Playnetic will offer to the industry remain scarce, as the company has kept its plans under wraps ahead of its official launch. Playnetic’s focus is on creating innovative gaming content with a commitment to quality gaming, dedicated customer service, and reliable delivery to partners.
The company’s industry debut will take place at ICE 2024, where it will showcase its offerings at Stand N3-550. With its customer-first approach and emphasis on value, quality, and straightforward ways of working, Playnetic aims to carve out a niche for itself in the gaming entertainment sector.
