SG Certified is offering a webinar to help businesses prepare for the upcoming ICE event. The webinar, scheduled for 24th January from 1pm to 2:30pm CET, is titled “Consumer Protection Zone – Who are we and how can we make the industry sustainable?” and aims to provide valuable insights into sustainability within the industry.
The webinar promises to cover a wide range of topics, including compliance, consumer protection, and sustainability. It is especially relevant for those looking to prioritize their ICE visit around learning about the latest in safer gambling. The session will also offer a preview of the main Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ) exhibitors, allowing participants to plan their visit accordingly.
The ICE Consumer Protection Zone, which won the Vixio Global Regulatory Award in 2022, is described as the go-to place for discovering the latest innovations in safer gambling. Funded by the industry and located at the heart of ICE London, the CPZ serves as a showcase for safer gambling innovations, highlighting the latest products and services to help businesses stay up to date with regulations.
In 2023, £52,800 was raised for the CPZ through donations from various industry players, including Les Ambassadeurs, Only Prizes, Kindred Group, Flutter, IGT, Betsson, Greentube, and BettorView. The funds were distributed among four charities: AGOG in the Netherlands, National Council on Problem Gambling in the USA, Better Change in the UK, and Betknowmore in the UK.
The CPZ offers opportunities for networking with regulators and operators in the safer gambling networking lounge, as well as access to a safer gambling theatre for education on the latest developments. Additionally, experts will be on hand to provide advice on implementing effective measures in businesses.
