Spiffbet, an online gaming operator, has recently acquired and relaunched Helmicasino.com in Finland. The company acquired the dormant Helmicasino site for SEK300,000 in November and has now relaunched it in Finland under a Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licence held by Spiffbet. This move extends Spiffbet’s presence in Finland, joining its existing Supernopea.com and Turbovegas.com sites.
This relaunch comes as the second new brand roll-out by Spiffbet in recent months, with the operator also launching Supersnabbt.se in the Swedish market in October. Spiffbet has stated that both of these launches were managed with existing organization and resources, without significantly increasing fixed costs for the business.
CEO Henrik Svensson expressed the company’s commitment to growth and increasing revenues, stating that the launch of Helmicasino.com is an offensive move in their focus on growth. He also mentioned that Spiffbet could pursue further launches over the next 12 months, though specific brands and markets were not disclosed.
Spiffbet’s portfolio of online brands includes Metal Casino, Cashmio, Supernopea, Buster Banks, Sir Jackpot, Live Lounge, Wishmaker, Goliath Casino, Bellis Casino, Turbovegas, and Scandibet.
Svensson expressed optimism about the relaunch of Helmicasino, stating, “We believe that Helmicasino will be well received by both players and affiliate partners. If this turns out well, we can look forward to more launches in 2024.”
This latest launch is the culmination of a productive year for Spiffbet, which also saw the sale of its game development business to Million Games back in August for up to SEK3.5m. This sale reflects a shift in focus for Spiffbet from game development to online casino operations, allowing the company to focus solely on running online casino brands.
Overall, the relaunch of Helmicasino.com signifies Spiffbet’s strategic expansion and focus on growing its presence in the online gaming market, with potential plans for further launches in the near future.
