In November, players in Mississippi placed a total of $62.4m in sports wagers, marking the highest amount in 11 months. Despite this, the amount was still lower than the same month last year, which saw $73.6m in wagers. However, this November’s total was a 26.1% increase from the $49.5m wagered in October, making it the highest total since $74.4m was bet in December 2022.

In terms of revenue, Mississippi saw $3.1m in November, reflecting a 33.3% decrease from last year’s $5.1m total and a 53.4% decrease from October’s $7.3m. Coastal casinos were the most popular venue for sports betting, generating $1.4m in revenue from $43.1m in total bets in November. Central casinos followed with $1.1m in revenue from $12.0m in bets, while northern casinos reported $530,929 in revenue from $7.2m in wagers.

Football remained the most popular sport to wager on, with players betting $23.2m on football at coastal casinos, $3.0m at central venues, and $3.7m at northern casinos. Overall, the numbers indicate a strong showing for sports betting in Mississippi, despite the decrease from last year’s totals.
